Assets for Artists
Assets for Artists is an artist-led and artist-centered program that marshals resources and strategies for creatives to pursue self-determined careers while navigating an economic system that’s stacked against us. We advance this mission by advocating for artists’ needs, redistributing resources directly to artists, and creating opportunities for artists to be in community, engage in peer-learning, and obtain tools for navigating the challenges of our current economic system while simultaneously shaping a more equitable one.
Edgartown Board of Trade
The Edgartown Board of Trade is the principle voice for business in the Town of Edgartown. It is dedicated to fostering an economic climate that enhances and improves the quality of life in the community, and it works to accomplish these tasks while protecting the historic character of the town, the natural beauty and its sense of community.
Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce
The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) is an independent, not-for-profit professional organization made up of members doing business on the beautiful Island of Martha’s Vineyard. Our mission is to support the economic health of our business community through a dynamic offering of programs and services.
Martha’s Vineyard Commission
The mission of the MVC is twofold: (1.) To assist our region’s 7 towns (Aquinnah, Chilmark, Edgartown, Gosnold, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, & West Tisbury) with planning expertise; and (2.) Protect and enhance the islands’ environment, economy, character, and social fabric.
Martha’s Vineyard Cultural Council
The Martha’s Vineyard Cultural Council is part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Local Cultural Council program, formed more than a quarter century ago. The MVCC’s mission is to promote excellence, access, education, or diversity in the arts, humanities and interpretative sciences for the purpose of improving the quality of life for all of the Island’s residents.

The mission of the Oak Bluffs Association is to support a harmonious working relationship among members of the business community, civic associations, town officials and the citizens of Oak Bluffs.
We are committed to promoting the businesses, activities and attractions of Oak Bluffs in order to improve tourism through the pursuit of excellence, and in so doing, improve the quality of life for the community year round.
Vineyard Haven Business Association /Visit Vineyard Haven
Visit Vineyard Haven is the new partnership between Vineyard Haven Business Association (VHBA) and Vineyard Haven Harbor Cultural District (VHHCD). Together, we aim to stimulate the growth of arts, culture, small businesses, and waterfront culture for residents and visitors by facilitating year-round art, cultural, and community events, and buying local, wayfinding, and placemaking initiatives.
Vineyard Haven Harbor Cultural District (VHHCD)
The Mission of the Vineyard Haven Harbor Cultural District publicly promotes and celebrates the authentic artisan culture of our historic harbor and town. Through community events and opportunities, the VHHCD helps support a vibrant space for local citizens, artists and trades people to share our town’s historic and contemporary passions with visitors from around the world.
